Hi,
I'm Lacey a 2 yrs. English Setter. I am the mom of Maverick and Goose. so proven breeders. I am registered in the Field Dog Stud Book (funny place for a lady to be registered!) and I have been trained in the last year, but not been hunting. UTD and micro-chipped. I am a housedog, not kennel raised, but am crate trained. I love to get and give attention.
Well, Kim found a great foster for me that failed! So I have a new home as they adopted me. Yeah, they just feel in love with my ability to ask for love and affection all the time. Not to mention I now have a setter sister, she is red so we complement each other well. We were out on a walk with mom and dad and both pointed at the same grouse! My training kicking in, not to mention my sissies help.
Mom and dad are travel nurses and have plans to go to Alaska this summer. We get to go too! They have already had me out when they skied. I stayed in the car mostly, my paws are tender and we tried shoes, but I take them off. LOL. So we will get my paws toughened up a bit and I will be so ready to go next time. Maybe I will beat them off the slopes?
